Calvary Faith Tabernacle came into being out of intense prayer and burden for the greater New York Metro area, as a group of concerned people felt the heartbeat of God for this great city. The vision remains to build a Tabernacle of prayer and praise for all people. We are a fellowship of believers in Christ, reflecting the ethnically blended body of Christ working together to reach out New York Metro area with the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We are a non-sectarian, Bible-believing, Bible-preaching Church. In Calvary Faith Tabernacle, nobody is a Somebody, but everyone is a Somebody, and Jesus Christ is Lord of all!
We have witnessed a great move of God in our church in the past several years. Not only have people been delivered, ministered, and added to the Church, but also have grown to function in the ministry of teaching, and positioning to leadership. We continue to hold regular Bible studies in different parts of the city, and people respond to the truth of the gospel with much enthusiasm and fervor.
We have an active youth program in our church, addressing the many issues our young people face in this city. Although we make it entertaining and interesting for all, the gospel and its values are upheld beyond any cultural norms. Our commitment and prayer is that this endeavor should spread light and strength to our future generations as they may have to walk dark alleys along the way.
Our Sunday school is very organized. Classes are taught by dedicated and caring teachers. Our worship choir comprises of young and old, encouraging all to praise and worship, as it is pleasing to the Lord.
